Swayam Jaiswal (born 20 October 1990), better known under his stage name SSonic, is an Indian DJ and Producer. He is the resident DJ at Splash - the poolside lounge at Swissotel Kolkata and also the Inhouse DJ at Maaya - the nightclub at Swissotel Kolkata. SSonic grew up in Kolkata and studied business before turning to music. He was professionally trained as a DJ at the “Indjnous DJ Academy” – certified by Pioneer DJ under Pioneer Gulf FZE. He was coached personally by the most renowned name of the DJ industry in Kolkata; DJ Harish Lakhmani. DJ Rhea Sarkar, DJ Sheikh & DJ D-Punk have also been his mentors. He has also worked alongside his mentors, gaining very important, hands-on experience in a live environment. He has never closed himself from any genre of music. He can perform sets on Bollywood dance music, Deep house, Future House, Electro House, Melbourne Bounce, Progressive House, Hip-Hop & Nu Disco. He also a particular interest in English Retro and can play seamless sets with classic tunes. He has an amazing collection of Commercial house music & Bollywood dance music. What up’s his game in the industry is his versatility with his music collection and ways of performing. He amazing with the mic and brings a whole new experience when he pumps up the crowd with amazing one-liners.
